1.
In the distance lights shone bright through the forests of the night. I saw outside a silhouette. I felt a warmth I can't forget. The woods, they called to me. Could it be my destiny? Outside, beyond my door? In there? In there? Knowing that I couldn't stay I gathered all that I could take. A fallen man smiled with his lies. A humble man gave me a light.

I believe that if you were to give an individual the tools and knowledge needed to write a song, their masterpiece would reflect the deepest depths of their soul. The songs on 'Lullabied' were composed during some of the darkest moments of my life. However, contrary to what I believed would result in music extensively enveloped in despair, it was not.

I have discovered that despite my struggle with depression, there is a part of me that is hopeful about the future, though unrecognized in the dark moments. My hope is that through this music, others can also feel tranquility in times of misadventure or optimism.
